What differences are between a normal bike and a professional?How can you tell what kind of bike it is with just seeing it?I gave some guys-that are very good on bikes-pictures of my bike and they told me that it was so bad,as a supermarket one.I want you to tell me more on bikes geometry and kinds of bikes.Thank you!!!

I would classify bikes into 3 categories. Department store bikes, bike store bikes and custom bikes.

Department store bikes tend to be cheaper, lower quality and more for the mass market. Bike store bikes tend to be a high quality designed more for the bike enthusiast. And custom bikes are built to a users specifications.

Materials, components, etc. go into determining the quality of a bicycle.
