measuring watts

Question
Hello, as far as measuring watts, how accurate is the typical health club stationary cycle on this reading? Is there any way to estimate ones wattage output?

Answer
Hi Ryan,

They are relatively accurate but not perfect. I am not sure there is another way to estimate actual wattage output. Check  out this site for some interesting commentary on wattage and why it is important, how to measure etc.http://www.bikeforums.net/archive/index.php/t-89796.html

Hope this helps

Have a great day
