What type of bicucle do I need?

2016/7/16 9:28:32

Question
I need a new bicycle. I have an old cruiser, a beautiful old bike, but its not what I need.
I live in a very rural area, The roads are paved, but are nothing but steep curves and hills. I need something that will take me long distances and that will stand up to a lot of riding. (I ride 5-6 times a week). I'm also a bigger girl. I'm 5'9 and weigh around 220 pounds. Lastly I'm a college kid on a budget. So I can't do more than say 300-400$. I do know that I don't need a mountain bike, I don't ride off road.

So what type of bicycle do I need?

-Ashley

Answer
Your budget is a problem. You probably want a decent road bike or touring bike. But decent will cost you close to $1K unless you can pick up a used bargain.

Hope this helps,

Just out of curiosity, how was I not polite? As for Knowledge or clarity, I'm not sure what more you were expecting.
