FUJI GRAN TOURER- L 12 SPEED

Hi Again George, The bike is a ladies model.  I'm going to re do it as it is in pretty good shape.  The Serial # is 76L01736 and it is Silver or Silver Mist per the FUJI catalog.  I don't know what year it is-1977 or 1979.  Still has the clip on the downtube for the bike pump!  Tires are original and in BAD shape.  I'm going to use it on my indoor trainer (CYCLOPS 2)as I'm recuperating from a car/bike crash (I lived) and save my TREK 7500 for the RAIL TRAILS around here in Western Pa.and stay off the roads!  The catalogue says 1-1/8" or 1-1/4" tires; I'll go with the wider and see how they are on crushed limestone trails.  My legs are good, lungs are good, ribs healing great and don't feel like a broken bag of pretzels when I laugh, cough, sneeze or hiccup (that's a good thing:)), but my left shoulder is tight but I'm working on it!  Thank you again!

Sorry I didnt get back sooner...I was at a dinner party last night.

So your building a womans bike? Well if you like it go for it. I didnt know it was for an indoor trainer so although its a steel frame it will be fine.

Im sorry to hear about your car accident too! that must have been horrible.

Save the TREK for outdoors and for your trainer bike get a shorter stem or riser bars. that way it wont put stress on your shoulders.
