HELP NEEDED to identify a Gazelle frame model

2016/7/16 9:29:08

Question

gazelle
Hey Michael,
i recently bough this frame but i can't make out the exact model though the make is a gazelle (serial 3212576). The previous owner did mention that the Mondial stickers was newly added after the recent touch-up coat of paint. The seat stay doesn't wrap to the seat lug but it has a butterfly brake bridge. It seems like a gazelle trim trophy. I hope you are able to help me out.

Answer
Dear Jess,

Thanks for asking me this difficult question ;-)
It's seems to be a older frameset, because the decal at the
front it's telling the place called Dieren.
This is a long way back when they used it that way.
I think it must be more that 30 years old, maybe more than 40 years.
Unfortunately I can't tell you more about the model of the frameset.
Maybe that Gazelle self can help you to find these old information, you can
send them an e-mail at  [email protected]
Hope that you Gazelle stay in good shape.

If you have anything else to ask me, don't hesitate to ask me.

With the best regards,

Mike

Hello Jess,

By co-incidence I saw a other frameset similar to yours, probably from 1973/1974.

Hope that this will help you a little more.

Best regards,
