Question
Jerry
I have been watching the tour de france.I used to run on a treadmill until my knees started acting up(I am 51).
I went out and got a real good stationary bike and pedal along to the VS telecast ever day!
Do those guys look that way from all the biking they do,or do guys that already have that body type get selected for biking?
If I biked for 30 minutes every day and followed a low fat diet-could I look that way too?

Answer
Hi Bud,

Some of them have been riding for years and are very young, so they have probably always been that way.

There are a lot of good benefits that you get by cycling whether it be stationery or riding your bike to the local store.

Following a low fat diet and cycling daily will probably be a good start to losing weight and bodyfat. The riders from the tour spend about 4 hours per day in training.

You could definitely get in the same type of condition that they are, it takes work, it takes time and a good diet and exercise plan. If you are ready to do it then go for it. Let me know what I can do to help.
