Recommissioning a Stored Boat: Steps for a Smooth Startup

I have a 2000 Baylinner 5.0 Merc IO and it has been stored for the past 4 years I am about to uncover and start, the gas tank is aprox half full I should remove the gas and refill what next, this boat has aprox 35 hours total on it.

Dear Richard,

I would put in some new gas with a can of Sea Foam in it to help clean off the parts when you first run the motor.  You may want to pull the plugs and squirt in a little light oil to help with the first few strokes of the motor.  I also like Mobile 1 synthetic oil in them motor but it may not be needed.  Once started let it run at lower RPM for a while to lube and warm up.
