Troubleshooting Intermittent Spark on a 1995 Johnson 40 HP Outboard

i have a 1995 40 horse johnson that is getting intermittent spark. one day it will fire,the next morning it wont.i have replaced the safety lanyard switch,ignition switch,and coil pack.can you please help?

Did you check the spark plug wires? They may need replacing, or, it might be faulty or improper spark plugs. Check your owners manual for further instructions on trouble-shooting.
