40 HP johnson alarm buzzer

I have a 1995 Lowe 15 foot aluminum hull with a 40 hp Johnson, It has sat unused for the last two years. Today I hooked up a fresh tank of fuel and a new battery and it started and runs great but the alarm buzzer stays on all the time. It used to just chirp once when you turn on the key like it should. The sticker on the dash says it is a fuel delivery problem but the motor runs like new.
I checked the fuel lines and the filter and they are clean. Please help. I bought the boat used and didn't get a manual. Thanks for any help you can give me.    Dave

Hi Dave...Thanks for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question.

I'm not a mechanic but, I get the impression corrosion may be the culprit, given the boat/mtr. haven't been operated for 2 yrs. Best you go online and request a manual from the manufacturer. Alternatively, consult a qualified and reliable marine mechanic, because he'll likely diagnose the problem quickly and probably at a very reasonable cost.
