Question
I am at the primer stage of sanding a very aged boat using auto primer. I think I want to spray an epoxy paint over the entire boat. Boat doesn't live in the water. I have sprayed Dupont acrylic enamels with good results. Your advise for the novice. Spray gun to use. What paint for this application and me is best.  Any good instructional how to videos out there? Your advise would be greatly appreciated.
sincerely...Rick

Answer
Using an epoxy primer and a two part epoxy boat paint will work the best for water applications.  But epoxy will go over your automotive primer.  If you go to www.boat-bottom-paint.com you can get a free cost analysis.  The products will spray well with either an airless or air type sprayer.  Our you can roll it on with a mohair type roller but could get some bubbles.
