Boat Car

Question
Have you ever ran across a Boat Car? These are from the 60's. I am interested in buying a junker, not running or one just for parts. Please let me know if you have any leads as to anyone who might own one. I'm well versed on using search engines, rather I am relying on word of mouth to find the the above.

My shop specializes in the repair of marine electronics and in my business I come in contact with many customers asking to find certain equipment for them. I just happen to know where one of these cars is sitting for sale. I will call the owner on saturday to see if it is still for sale and for how much. I will also ask if they happen to have any parts for them laying around in their shop. You may also want to check out the following site for info about the Amphicars from the 1960s
