feeding oats in morning and evening

2016/7/15 11:20:40

Question
hello sir. in the off season, can i feed my horses with 2kg oats in the morning around 9am and 4kg oats in the evening around 6pm.(we feed our horses only twice a day).

Answer
hi   you can feed your horse anything you want to feed at a regular time each day. if the horse is back at the farm just resting, i would think you would not feed much oats as that would keep the horse very active. sweet feed is a much better feed to mellow that out while resting on the far,. thanks ED HESS
