hello sir, in how much quantity to provide
1) hay
2)salt block
3)water
4)apples
5)carrots
6) lucerne
7) oats
8) barley
9) bran
10) sugar cubes
to racehorses per meal?

Answer
I USUALLY FEED THE HORSES 3 TIMES A DAY  EARLY MORNING BEFORE THEY GO OUT TO THE TRACK A SMALL AMOUNT OF OATS 1 QUART  THEN AFTER THEY WORKOUT AROUND 10 AM  2 QUARTS OF OATS  THEN AT 4-5 PM THE MAIN MEAL. WINTER TIME A HOT MASH WITH BRAN OATS AND SWEET FEED AROUND 6 TO 8 QUARTS . I WOULD GIVE SUGAR CUBES AS A TREAT AND CARROTS AS ALSO A TREAT ANYTIME OF THE DAY APPLES ALSO AS A TREAT. THE SALT BLOCK IN THE STALL OR FIELD FOR FREE CHOICE.  THANKS ED HESS
