checking gums daily

2016/7/15 11:24:38

Question
hello sir, why to check the horse gums??? may i know how many times a day to check the horse gums??? why it is very important for a trainer???

Answer
hi, well sometimes young horses have new teeth comming in and they may be sore inside the mouth from the bit. other times they may have sore spots that the bits may rub on, so you should check for trouble every time you notice the horse acting funny about his mouth. a good washing with sALT water is always good to do.  thanks ED HESS
