pedigree study

Question
hello sir. can you guide me how to study the pedigree of a horse?

Answer
hi ----  well they have books on pedigrees on horses, so you could study them. remember that it is 60% on the studs side of the family and 50% on the mares side of the family when breeding a horse to race. you have to go back at least 3 generations to see how the prodigy is doing on both sides of the family. thanks ED HESS
