Ex- Race Horses

I am looking for a listing of ex-race horses, a horse was rescued in my area,and animal control has reports that says he was a champion at the Kentucky Derby. I'm trying to confirm this, as unlikley as it may be..

Look under his upper lip and read the tattoo. There will be one letter followed by numbers. The most important part is the first letter and this will tell me who he is if he won the Kentucky Derby. If you can read the whole tattoo number, we can get you a name with full stats and bloodlines.
