Question
I their I Just got an ex-race horse he was slaughter bound, His name is stormy well that's the name he came with, I looked up his tattoo number (T15000) His Name is Masked Storm Dancer.

I would like to get his race records or at least see them online, I want to be able to get his papers and I cant do so cause the papers are lost, So I need to get a hold of his last known owner (Jockey Club wont tell me) and have then sign a few papers (If the people are still alive)

I also would like to know his racing history, how many races he won, lost, Ext..

If you could help please let me know.

Answer
Hi Sara,
Sorry to be so long responding to your question, I have been on holiday and did not tell AE, oops!
The best place to find racing records in the USA is from www.equineline.com. In NZ we have a free service for this, www.arion.co.nz but I think equineline is a fee service.
I'm surprised the Jockey Club would not cooperate, however I have never dealt with them so Im not sure what they are like.
The racing writer for your local paper will be a good source as well, they generally can remember most horses that have raced in their area.
Hope this is some help to you,
