Utah Horse Trainer License Requirements: Thoroughbred vs. Other Horses

I am new to the state of Utah and I was wondering are you required to have a trainers licence to train other peoples horse or is that only in Race horses? and if so is there a link to a web site whre i can find out more inforatation?

hi alisha  --- well you have to have a trainers license to train thoroughbred horses in any state issued by the local racing commission. to train other peoples horses other then thoroughbred horses, you may not need a license. you can go to the local racing commission of your state and see what their rules are concerning training horses in their state.  thanks for your question.  thanks ED HESS
