Low Arch Running Shoe

2016/7/22 10:07:20

Question
To whom this may concern:
I have always had foot troubles. I have no arch and it can get painful to run. I got out of the military two months ago and am in an ROTC program that runs alot. Since I lost my medical coverage I am looking for a good running shoe (my orthodics are getting worn out). Will a good running shoe and a generic arch support from a sporting good store suffice? I am not a cripple by no means and I survived my first 4 years in the military fine. My goal is to increase my mileage and I know i will need to get some good shoes. Currently I run in a Nike Pegasus and a low end New Balance that I put my Orthodic in. Should I increase my budget and get a more expensive shoe, will I notice a difference after running for awhile? And if so do you have any suggestions? Thank you for your time.
