Use of Creatine and jogging

2016/7/22 10:08:57

Question
I have recently started using Creatine as a supplement but I am noticing that I am getting numb feet when doing my normal 3 mile runs.  As I have never had this problem I am assumming that it must be the creatine.  What do you think?

Answer
Hello,

That's an interesting question.  There have been no reports of numb feet directly related to creatinine use.  Have you gained much weight since you've been taking it?  Extra weight could put more pressure on your nerves.  Also, you are retaining more water bc of the Cr use...so your shoes may be fitting a bit tigher, causing foot numbness.  I would loosen your shoelaces and see if this makes a difference

It is possible that something else is going on (neuroma, etc.), but I would rule out these factors first before pursuing.
