Question
ok, i am a 15year old boy who plays football(soccer), i like to ply as a wing back but i was wondering if you could give me any tips to improve my pace?. Also i am not a particularly skinny person so is there any type of diet i could use in conjunction with football/ training to further boost my performance?

Answer
Hi Tom
The most important diet is just good well balance of protein, carbs, good fats like olive oil, fruits, vegies, and breakfast is the most important to set you up for the day.Develop a workout that closely resembles your position and effort in football and then do 10 minute repeats with 5 min recovery in between.Work your way up to 6 of them. This is a form of interval training in a sport specific(football)workout.Do 2 of these a week with 2 days in between for recovery.Any other questions just get in touch.Run the workout just like when your in the game always stopping and going.

All the best

John
