Fluid/blood in knee

2016/7/22 10:10:21

Question
I have been running regularly from past two years inspite of swelling and knee pain and was least bothered. My friend suggested me to put ice and it worked. I went later to get it checked. Doctor  tried to take fluid/blood( very little swelling) but nothing was inside and advice for rest. I am not sure what is the reason and little worried that jogging is not good for a person as I am addicted to it. Doctor said nothing wrong but need rest. Please advice me what is the best solution in this type of situation

With regards

Answer
Hi Pradeep
There is nothing wrong with running, but from time to time you will have to deal with situations and take care of them so they don't get worst. You could have some irritated bursas.I would recommend you start doing some stationary bike rides for 30 to 40 minutes 4 times a week for 30 days to correct some alignment and tracking problems your probably having and then test the waters. If you have other questions just get in touch Pareed.

All the best

John
