Question
Hi Ryan;
I am a pretty new runner with goals of completing my first 1/2 marathon in December.  I have read conflicting information as to how many days a week to train.  I have read anywhere from 3 days a week is fine all the way to 6 days a week.  I want to get the most out of my time so can you please shed some light on this for me.
Thank you.

Answer
Tammy,

if you are serious abut training, you shuld train 7 days a week. I ran twice a day, six days a week, and once on Sundays for 6 years straight. I lived with World Record holders and Gold medalists, and they all trained 7 days week. The people that say only 3 or 5 days a week are the ones scared to push themselves and don't have the desire to be the best they can be.
