Trying to find the joy in running

2016/7/22 10:11:39

Question
Hi there, I have been running regularly for a little more than a year  and when I first started I remember how amazing it felt right after I was done. I should say that it was close to a spiritual experience, for about a minute after the end of my run I would just be at peace. And for months now I haven't been able to find that same spiritual feeling again, running is becoming a chore for me. So my question is, how can I get that passion and peacefullness back?

Answer
Hi Genna
There is a reason for everything in life.Everything you see or touch or do was first a thought. You have to ask yourself why did i start running in the first place.I guess the medicine of running worked quite well as it does for many of us,(myself 30yrs.7 days a week gave me a whole new life, and not a day goes by that i'm not gratefull for my run and what it has done for me and powers my day to handle whats in front of me.)You have to look deep and you will find the answer.Life is allways changing  and challendging us and testing us.The running is truly a medicine that works it thing, but you have to focus on what your taking this medicine for.I hope you can make sence of what i'm trying get across Genna. If you have any other questions just get in touch.I pened a few words for you to focus on as you try to sort your situation out.Be patient be patient Genna it will come to you in do time.

All the best

John

Your new life and what you want to accomplish begins when you want it to start. When you have a dream in your heart and a vision of victory you can live and be the hero of your own success story. The wide doors of opportunity will open for you and are waiting for your entrance.Like with any journey you will encounter some adversity and is at this moment you must stand tall in these difficult times in life and focus beyond where you are now.Don't talk about the problems. You must consentrate on the solutions and speak to the mountains which lie ahead. You must have the courage to be creative and dare to do what you have never done before. This is the only way to accomplish the impossible.Keep your eyes fixed on the path to the top but don't forget to look in front of you.The last step depends on the first.....
