Pain in leg

Question
Hi, I am in high school and it's going to be my senior year for cross country.  We practice in the summer every day except Sunday and in the first week of practice i noticed this pain in my left leg. I blew it off, but it got so bad i couldn't run or walk without pain. After the first day it severely hurt, my lower legs were shaking uncontrollably and i couldn't really stand. I stopped running for almost all of July and at the end of July i have been on the elliptical which doesn't bother it most times, yet i can still feel the pain afterward. I feel pain when i touch my inside posterior tibial bone and connective muscle or tendon on the bone, but the pain is really everywhere from the top of my foot up my shins, ankles, calves, and sometimes shoots up my leg ( i sometimes hear this snapping noise), and I know I'm flat footed. I am able to move my ankle without pain say if I'm sitting down, but when i put pressure on my foot/ankle/leg it really hurts. I've gotten x-rays and they couldn't tell anything was wrong; so last week i got an MRI finally since the pain hasn't gone away, but i wont know the results until the 30th of Aug. I just don't know what to do and it's hard to explain what I'm feeling. Do you have any ideas what this could be? I think it's multiple things all together? Could it be a pinched nerve? I just really hope to run my senior year without pain. Anything that you can tell me will truly be taken into consideration. Thank you for your time.
