Sit-ups Before Running: Benefits, Risks & Alternatives
Question do some people do situps before they go out running
if so why ?
Answer I don't know. It might be used as a warm up, but if you do more than a few, you're only wearing out core muscles. I guess if someone wants to run with a weak core for endurance/strength training, that's an idea. Just like jump roping before you run. You'd teach your legs to run under fatigue.
