Jogging with Asthma: Safe Practices & Tips for Runners

Question
Hello,
Very Recently I started jogging in morning times to reduce my belly(35"in size), but Am having Asthma from my childhood. I took the treatment, Now I can breath well normally, but while am Jogging, this problem is troubling me. What measures can I take while am Jogging

Answer
Good morning, which "treatment" do you mean?  I assume that you have seen a doctor recently and he diagnosed you with asthma instead of assuming its a carry over from childhood.  If this is the case, the most common treatments are usually periodic shots with an option of a corticosteroid inhaler.  Many runners with bad asthma actually need to carry the inhaler with them.  If, in fact, asthma is your correct diagnosis, I would recommend carrying the inhaler during your runs.  Please have your physician confirm this opinion.

Best regards, Larry
