weight gain and running

Question
I started running 6 weeks ago I run about 3 5k's a week cross train 2 days and weight train one day. My diet is pretty balanced I eat healthy whole foods nothing processed, lean meats, oatmeal etc.I don't eat a ton, I've gained weight! Especially in mid section. I know for a fact I'm not pregnant so ???????

Answer
Well, running alone with some cross training days & only 1 strength day per week isn't the best solution for fat loss if you are after that.

Strength training 2-3x/week is a better option if you are seeking fat loss.  Read my free e-book, The Mini-Max Method, at my site, http://speeddialcoach.com for some further insight.
