Chronic Calf Tightness: Solutions for Pain-Free Running

for the past 6 years i have had a chronic calf tightness. its my right calf..i have had ART , acupuncture, etc...its now so bad i cannot run a mile..Ok i know its my tight muscles but what can i do to ensure i can run pain free for 10 km

I would recommend to bite the bullet and go with the stationary bike for a few months testing the waters every couple of weeks untill it is healthy.When things pop up you have to take care of them and revise your program or they will put you down in time.Al take 500mg vit c with your 3 meals a day.
