Shoulder pain

Question
When I run longer distances, my  left shoulder often starts to hurt (I would say 75% of the time.) It's not really sore, and the pain is constant. As far as I can tell, the pain just starts. Rubbing it doesn't help at all, but it doesn't make it worse. I think it might feel like what a frozen shoulder might feel like, but I really have no idea. Could you maybe tell me what it is?

Answer
Hi David
Most all running injuries are directly related to alignment and tracking from head to toe and that goes for the shoulders.Everything,muscles,tendons.connective tissue skeletal system work together, and if any one is out or to tight like your shoulder it effects everything.
I would recommend you start i real good stretching program upper and lower body and also core program.I think if you work consistently on this you will free up that shoulder. It is more than likely related to your spinal and rib cage.Have you taken a fall recently? Think back real good what you might have done and you will come up with the cause and effect. You can take some Epson salt baths to help relax that area.Just use google for different stretching exercises. If you have any other questions just get in touch David.

All the best
