QUESTION: i am jogging for 1 hr, and doing weght training for 30 min, for weight loss, should i continue with this , can one run 6 days a week for weght loss, and for how many min should one run, is it advisable to run 1 hr 6 days a week for weight loss.

ANSWER: It is very good. 6 days is great for weight loss and getting in shape. Also 1 hour is good, as the body does not start to burn fat until atleast 30 minutes of exercise. Before that time, it burns sugar.

QUESTION: kindly advise should i do weight training after jogging,and that too weight training for another 45minutes.
i want to loose weight and be in shape , but i donot want to develop big muscles.

please advice what kind of weight training sshould i do to avoid bulk in my body.

Hi again,

As far as lifting, you should do light weights with a high number of repetitions. This will tone your muscles and create longer, thinner muscles instead of large bulky ones like bodybuilders. Lift after running, but you only need lift 3 days a week.
