Cramping

Question
Everytime I try to walk fast or jog the muscles in the front of my calf, next to my shin bone, tighten up so severely that you can literaly see a knott form on my leg. It is painful and prevents me from being able to continue. So far no one has any clue what this may be. Can you help?

Answer
Hi Janet
You have shin splints, which over time will cease.Generally this happens with people new to jogging or walking, but you can do a few things to expedite the healing proccess.
1..Ice your shins after all workouts
2..Take 500mg of vitimin c with your 3 meals a day
3..Sit on a table with about a 101b weight hanging
on the fore front of your foot and do curl ups to
stregthen shin muscles, and then ice them for about
10 minutes after.
4..You can also do a little massage to increase blood
flow to the area.
5..Be patient and consistent with what i gave you and the shin splints will go away.
6..Let me know about your progress Janet.
