Just some advice and a question.

Question
Hello,
I weigh 69kgs(152.2 lbs) and am 180cm (5.9feets on my calculator -dunno about inches-?) tall, so I have no considerable fat to burn, but only muscle to accumulate and to 'sculpt'. I run before my workouts for about 25min (burn around 220 calories) and do the 'stride' machine(like a stepper) for 30 minutes (330 calories) before I move on to some 'Nautilus' machines and do few reps here and there for about 15 minutes (biceps, chest, shoulder, etc.), then do some crunches and tummy exercises (3-4 types of exercises) for 15 minutes. 3 times a week.
- First, I would like to ask you if you please to judge my workout. I am concerned with 'cutting' my body and NOT gain weight and become Mr.Olympia. I hate having big muscles, I just like flat abs and a sculpted body.

- What should I eat BEFORE going to the gym? Usually, I eat some nutritious dried figs based biscuits containing a lot of fibers (around 200calories of them). What about AFTER the gym, when I'm all hungry? When is the intake of Protein important?

- Are those weight straps any good? You know, those straps that weigh about 2 kilograms (uh, around 10lbs?) or so that you strap on around your hand and/or lower legs when running. Are they effective, or are they just a minor un-necessary gadget?

Thank you,
have a nice day

I would not put straps of weights on ankels to injure yourself.  U can carry hand weights while running, that is safe.

Eat a fig bar like u said u eat.  After workouts, they sound perfectly good to sculptureing, eat a big sald with low fat or diet dressings, lean beef grilled, baked potatoe with only pepper on it or very little pure butter.  Veggies steamed, salt and pepper on them.  A bagle maybe.  U can eat alot of meat, cut the fat off and make sure it is grilled, no salt that u will salt to taste.  Ask for steamed veggies also.  Fish the same, lots of fish.  No breads, buns, gravies, sugars, etc.

Tons of crunches and tummy lifts for that tight six pack I think looks super.  I like just a nice bicep, not huge over done ones.  Nice lean muscled thighs, good heavy clalfs however.  I do not like a lean muscled face, it makes one look starved and drawn.

If u keep doing what your are and eat properly, u must eat, lots of fiber and meats grilled, u should end up super nice.

Kind Regards
Patt
