Question
After reaching the top of a short lead route can you be let down to the ground by the belayer and still manage to get the draws off of the wall

Answer
Yes u can. You will need to anchor the rope with safety. Many really good books explain this process in detail and it maybe worth finding a little bit more about it, before,- well u do some damage.
Once the rope is safely anchored in at the top, as you descend back down the wall the quick draws will just be hooked to your rope and the wall and it is actually safe to then take them out. However if your partner is going up it maybe worth keeping the first quick draw below the anchor point in-just for safety reasons if anything shall go wrong.
I must say i would recommend watching some other climbers do this first. I think this would show you alot and you will probably understand it better than over the internet.
Good luck!!
Let me know how it goes.
Keep safe at all times!!
