Beginner's Guide to Rock Climbing: Getting Started & Essential Tips

Hey Jeff. I have been thinking about taking up climbing and was wondering where to begin. Also, just being curious, have you ever wanted to climb Mt. Everest?

I've never climbed Everest, I'm more of a rockclimber than a mountaineer.  I would suggest going to your local rock gym and taking a couple lessons, then go to an outdoor rock school for outdoor classes. Indoor climbing and outdoor climbing are VERY different.  You'll be climbing in no time.
