Question
I have just purchased a semi dry suit 6.5ml how much extra weight should I add including 10% of my body weight for this suit.

Answer
Hi,

Depends on the size, the brand and the amount of air in the suit and the age of the neoprene (they become lest buoyant with age).

Also, a semi-dry will be more buoyant at the surface and "tighten up" after a few minutes at depth.

Experiment first in the shallows!

I used to use a Mares 6.5 semi in the caves all the time.  They can be tricky but are pretty nice once you get used to them.

No one can tell you for certain.  I would guesstimate on average an additional 8lbs/4kilos of lead to start out.

Dive safely!

saludos,
James
