If so please get back to me as soon as you can thank you Michael

Answer
Hi Michael

This question is a little outside the topic of scuba diving but I'll try to help you as best I can.  I understand about teething puppies since I've had a few of them myself over the years.  I've addressed using the shark mesh in previous answers over the past couple of years so you might browse my past answers to see what you can find.  I think I was able to locate a supplier and, if so, it would have been posted in my answer.  The mesh is made of small welded interlocking stainless steel rings so it is relatively heavy and also expensive.  I'm not sure you could purchase just the small amount you need for this project.  You'd have to contact the supplier and ask them. I've never seen this material for sale in any retail shop.  Additionally, you might find that your puppies hair will get caught in the small rings of the material and could cause him considerable discomfort.  To avoid that problem you'd have to place a liner between the chain mail and your puppies fur.  As you can see, this project just gets bigger and more expensive.

I think a better suggestion for you is to just purchase a pet harness made for the size of your puppy.  Harnesses are inexpensive and easy to obtain in any pet shop.  Your puppy would have a hard time trying to chew on the harness while he's wearing it.  They are inexpensive enough that you could purchase a large number of them before reaching the cost of a single harness made of chain mail.

Michael, I hope these suggestions will help you in finding a suitable harness for your puppy!!

Sincerely,
Mike Giles
