About the cousteau abs system

Question
I have one of these I found at a garage sale a couple years ago, Does anyone know what it is worth, I may put it up on ebay, or trade for a hooka system.

Answer
Rob,

Ahh, the ABS system.  I've received a few questions about that unit; mostly people who have seen it in a Cousteau film and just want to know what it is.

As for a value, it would be very difficult to say.  I had a friend that got a hold of a brand new triple k-valve that is used in the unit.  He sold it for $350 to a collector.  And, that was just the valve!

I really couldn't even guess what one of those is worth, as I don't follow the vintage SCUBA equipment scene.  I recommend you contact www.vintagescubasupply.com.  They are the experts in the field of vintage SCUBA equipment.

Hope this helps,
