Question
I am going for diving for the first time. What are the precautions i should take care?

Answer
Hi Anuska,

I assume you're talking about scuba diving and not snorkeling.

If you're certified to scuba dive then you need to pay close attention to the skills you were taught in your diving classes.  Those are too numerous to mention in this short answer.

If you're not certified to dive then you need to go with a certified diving instructor who will give you basic instruction prior to your dive and will accompany you on your dive to make sure you follow all necessary safety precautions.

If neither of the above scenarios fits your situation then I would advise you not to dive because failure to observe standard diving precautions could easily get you severely injured or killed.  Scuba diving is fun and safe but only if you are properly trained.  I cannot possibly provide you with the skills you need to dive in this answer.  You need the attention of a trained and licensed scuba instructor to ensure that you have developed the required skills to perform your dive safely.

Sincerely,
Mike Giles
