leonard single shot shotgun?

2016/7/22 9:05:49

Question
hello, i have recently acquired an older shotgun,it has no serial # no proof marks  or other indicators except for leonard stamped into the left side of the reciever and *choke bored* stamped on the top center of the barrel. it is a single barrel -single shot, hammer fire-appears to be a 12 gauge. i can push the tang behind the hammer to the right side to open and load. it looks very well used ,have tried everyway at my disposal to find information on this firearm to no avail. any information you can proovide would be greatly appreciated and a thank you in advance for your reply. don

Answer
Sorry I got nothing on it. Try bringing it an older gunsmith. It might house from a smaller store or company that did not last long. Maybe it can id'ed by the way its made.
If you can attach photo I'm might be able tell what it is.
Sorry I can't help more.
