Question
i have my grandfathers double barrel. it is a A H fox sterlingworth. this gun is in excellent condition i use every year for deer season. what i need to know is what year this gun was made and value. i don't know if i should be using this gun or hang it on the wall. it was made in phila p.a. the # on the trigger guard is 110961.  thanks for your help.

Answer
Hello Tige. Your Sterlingworth was manufactured in 1926. The value can range from $350-$3,500. I would get a professional firearms evaluator for a more accurate value. Personally, I would have it professionally preserved and hang it on the wall. Do not have it restored. Just cleaned and oiled. There are factors to consider. Does it have ejectors, single trigger,or 32" barrel? these are factors that can bring the price up.
I hope this answers your questions and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
