Question
hopefully you can help me i have a old Springfield J.Stevens arms company "Model 15" 22 rifle i am trying to find the bolt for it but so far no good I'm hoping you can help and also can you tell me where the serial # is located i have looked everywhere and i can not find it
THANK YOU
 Ryan

Answer
Hello Ryan. You might try numrichgunparts.com item #103950A or poppertsgunparts.com item #S00777. The Model 15 was manufactured from 1936 to 1971. If you can't find a serial number, it probably does not have one. The Firearms Act of 1968 made it mandatory that all firearms be marked with a one-of-a-kind serial number. Your rifle was made sometime between 1936 and 1968, so it was not required to have a serial number. I hope this information helps and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
