Question
I have recently started dating a guy who is in love with air soft. He wants me to go and try it out one day. I am terrified i think it is going to hurt but I don't want to look like a little girl when i get hit. Is there any tips that i could use to avoid getting hurt or injured?

Answer
lol, you are being a girl, which is what you are, so that is Ok.  Airsoft is not as bad as Paint ball, it stings, it may leave little welts, but not the end of the world.  You can things to help, wear a long sleeve shirt, wear a lose fitting sweatshirt with a hood, wear gloves, wrap a scarf around your neck and tuck into your shirt so protect your chest area.  The airsoft hurts worse when it hits skin close to bone, where there is no fat or muscle, so protecting those areas will help.

You need to get the mindset that this is good training and experience for you.  You will learn how to focus and stay in the fight even if you get hit, hurt or stung, that is key to survival in any critical incident.  So this will help you get over your fear, work past your pain and help you focus even if you are in pain.

You can also take a aspirin before you go to help relax you and help with the "minor" pain.

Beside if you do good and kick butt, your guy friend will know not to mess with you.  :)   good luck
