Question
Dear Sir,
I would like to ask your opinion if it just ok to shoot my m1911 pistol for more than 150 rds per month. Does my firearm still be intact. My pistol is a rock island 45cal.
Thanks

Answer
That's OK.  I fire mine about that much.  A good quality 1911 like yours should last about 4000 rounds.  Just periodically check to make sure that it is still in good condition.  After about 4000 rounds, a gunsmith can check and re-work it, so that it should be good to go again.

Hope this helps!

Dave
