.300 Denton mag

I bought a rem model 700 and it was modified from a .30-06 to a .300 Denton mag. My question is what or who created the denton mag and what round matches it. I fired a .300 win mag from the gun and it reshaped the round it expanded about an 8th to a quarter inch. I can not find anything about Denton except Denton Bramwell who designed the .338 and the .300 Lapau. I researched what I could and they say the .300 win mag is the match to .300 Lapau round. Can you please tell me who or what made the .300 Denton mag.

I have no idea and have never heard of this round.  You can try the links I put on here.  I would contact who ever makes ammo or call winchester and ask if you can change to their round or if they know any info.
