Question
i have a model 70 winchester the serial number is in the 300600 area it is 300 h&h that was rechambered to a 300 weatherby mag and is in good shape and i was wondering how much it might b worth

Answer
Hello Billy. Your Winchester Model 70 was manufactured in 1954 according to the serial number 300600. It being a pre-64 in good condition can place a value from $700.00 to well over $1,000.00. I recommend going to an Internet firearms auction site and researching the selling prices listed. The Blue Book of Gun Values can give you a moderate value of your Model 70, but like gold, silver and the price of oil, the actual value can fluctuate according to demand. I hope this answers your question and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
