Question
I have a Browning LightningI .12 GA. Skt & Skt. 26 " Purchased 12/1/1967 Sr#35968 Either S5 or 85. has engraving
Like new condition used only a few times for skeet shooting. has been in padded hard case and not fired since 1979. Not sure if this is a Belgium Browning. But did see an article years ago that said this particular engraving made it a more valuble gun. Don't know if it will help but I paid $412.50 for it.

Answer
Ken,

If you get a chance, give me a call at 417-830-5588 before 9:00 p.m. CST. I have several questions to ask before I can tell you what you have for sure. By the serial number, I can tell you the shotgun was made in 1965, it has a round knob pistol grip, long tang. The questions I have are about the engraving and whether it has a pad. Thanks.
