Question
Have a chance to buy an A5 made in Belgium. Ser. no. 5646 with  8V stamped above the ser. no. plain barrel w/ poly choke. Am not able to find allot of information about it. Looks to have seen allot of use, wood 85%, bluing 80%  all the information you may have will be appreciated very much.

Answer
According to the serial number you have a Mag 12 made in 1958 as evidenced in the 8V. It should have a Browning pad and round knob pistol grip. The poly choke may or may not have been original from the Browning, St. Louis, Missouri gunsmith shop. The mag 12's are fairly common in 93%-96% overall condition. You can learn more by reading the Browning Auto 5 shotguns book ISBN: 0-9707997-1-3.  Hope this helps.
