J.Stevens Shotgun Model 235

2016/7/22 9:19:48

Question
Sid,
The 235 I have does not have any markings on it. It only has the maker and the model and on the but plate it says Matilda. Does this mean anything or was it put there by some else that owned it? Where can I find some pictures of it in it's original condition so I can get it back to that state as close as possible.

Thanks
Dick

Answer
Dick,

The easy and obvious answer is to just spend some time researching via the net however, I also suggest that you check out Numrich Gun Parts Co. at www.e-gunparts.com. They often have photos, old owner manuals, schematics,  parts list and availability.

There are also several good books on the market that you can purchase but to research just one gun, you may find thsy option a bit over priced ( $30 to $50 ).

I hope this will help get you started and thanks for the question Dick.
