Buying first hand gun

2016/7/22 9:20:24

Question
Can you please help me with a choice on my first handgun purchase? I am interested in a 9mm, 380 and 40 caliber. These firearms are home protection and gun range. What are some handgun manufactures and models you can suggest for a first time buyer on a budget?

Answer
I think 380 is too small for a primary personal protection gun.  I would suggest a 1911 style 45 such as from Thompson.  A less expensive one can be gotten from Taurus.  If you need 9mm, then try the XD series from Springfield.

Hope this helps!

Dave
